TIA Tennis Forum Set for Aug. 29 in NYC
The ninth annual TIA Tennis Forum will be Monday, Aug. 29, on the Ballroom level of the Grand Hyatt New York City, right before play begins at the 2016 US Open.
Free to attend, the Forum will present the latest news about the state of the tennis industry, including participation, equipment sales data, grassroots initiatives, updates from the USTA, and more. Plus, inductees into the Tennis Industry Hall of Fame will be honored in a ceremony at the conclusion of the Forum.
In addition, this year the TIA will present a Tennis & Technology fair that will highlight many innovative products on the market that are impacting sports and fitness activities. The event continues the focus given to technology products at the recent TIA “Tennis Tech Fair” held in Miami.
The Tennis Forum in New York also will outline pathways to increasing the number of “core” tennis players, ways to better define and boost the economic growth and impact of the tennis industry, and effective ways to distribute clear, consistent messaging of health, fitness and the reasons to play tennis.
