The 10th Annual Tennis Industry Association (TIA) Tennis Forum will be on Monday, Aug. 28, at the Intercontinental New York Barclay Hotel. The Forum will include the latest news about the state of the tennis industry, updates on grow-the-game initiatives, business insights and a spotlight on innovation.

TIA Tennis Forum in New Location: Intercontinental New York Barclay

The 10th Annual Tennis Industry Association (TIA) Tennis Forum on Monday, Aug. 28, will be at a new hotel this year: the Intercontinental New York Barclay at Lexington Avenue and 49th Street. The Forum, and subsequent sessions for the Future of Tennis & Tech event on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, will be in the Grand Ballroom at the Intercontinental. Visit TennisIndustry.org.

Tennis ‘Innovation Challenge’ Finalists To Present Aug. 28 in NYC

Just as the upcoming US Open Championships will showcase the best competitors in tennis, the Tennis Industry Innovation Challenge will put some of the most brilliant new and innovative sports products and services center stage for a unique competition in New York City. The Innovation Challenge will follow the TIA Tennis Forum, which starts at 8:30 a.m. ET at the Intercontinental New York Barclay Hotel on Aug. 28, which is the first day of play at the US Open.

“NEXT Generation: A Tennis Innovation Workshop” will be Oct. 11-15 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Florida. The event is designed for tennis professionals and providers, industry leaders and representatives, manufacturers, media and more.

USRSA World Conference Set for Oct. 6-9 in Orlando

The schedule for the USRSA World Conference, to be held Oct. 6-9 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., will feature top leaders and presenters in the industry, including Mark Gonzales, John Gugel, Liam Nolen, Tom Parry and Bob Patterson. The USRSA conference immediately precedes the NEXT Generation workshop, also in Orlando.

‘Tennis Innovation Challenge NYC’ Attracts 31 Products/Services

Thirty-one innovative products and services have applied for the unique “Tennis Innovation Challenge NYC 2017.” The competition—for innovative products, software and services designed to grow the sport and business of tennis with players, consumers and fans—will culminate at the 10th Annual Tennis Industry Association (TIA) Tennis Forum on Aug. 28 in New York City, when the finalists present to a panel of judges and in front of an audience of industry leaders and executives.
