20 SPORTS STARS ON CAPITOL HILL FOR PRO-ACTIVITY GAME PLAN

Twenty champions of sport will be on Capitol Hill on March 4 to help Americans prevent and reduce health care costs.  The occasion is National Health Through Fitness Day.  That day, they will be meeting with members of Congress to aggressively address the importance of getting federal pro-physical activity legislation passed and funded.  With 80 million Americans currently ‘inactive,’ something needs to be done to reverse this country’s ‘Inactivity Pandemic.’  It begins with daily P.E. in our schools.  This group of accomplished athletes includes five Olympic gold medalists, one Olympic silver medalist, one Heisman Trophy winner, and two Super Bowl champions, among others!
