TIA Continues Popular Webinar Learning Series

The TIA’s Spring/Summer Webinar Learning Series will include educational webinars that touch on many segments of the tennis industry. A number of the webinar topics for this series have been adapted from presentations at the Tennis Owners & Managers Conference that was held in Orlando, Fla., this past March. Last year’s Webinar Learning Series, which also followed the TOM Conference, generated nearly 1,500 registrations in the first three months.

Save the Date: TIA Tennis Forum Aug. 28 in NYC

The 10th Annual TIA Tennis Forum will take place in New York City on Monday morning, Aug. 28, the first day of play at the 2017 US Open. The Forum will be at a new location—the Intercontinental New York Barclay, the official hotel of the ATP Tour, at Lexington Avenue and 49th Street in New York City.

TOM Conference/Future of Tennis Forum Focuses on Business, Participation Growth

The fourth annual Tennis Owners & Managers (TOM) Conference attracted more than 250 tennis facility owners, managers and others in the industry, from 30 states and seven countries. The TOM Conference was presented by the Tennis Industry Association (TIA) and held at the Rosen Shingle Creek resort in Orlando, Fla., March 27-29.

Tennibot Named Winner of Inaugural Tennis Industry Innovation Challenge

The Tennis Industry Association (TIA) staged its own version of “March Madness” recently and even crowned a champion—in less than one hour. The TIA’s “March Madness” event was the Tennis Industry Innovation Challenge, a “Shark Tank”-like competition to identify the most innovative and creative product or service in the tennis industry. In the final analysis, the panel of judges picked Tennibot, a robotic tennis ball collector.

Snodgrass Partners Joins TIA as a Corporate Partner

To help tennis providers manage and grow their businesses, including in the important areas of staffing, recruitment, management and leadership, the Tennis Industry Association (TIA) has formed its newest corporate partnership with Snodgrass Partners Inc., an executive search and management consulting firm based in Overland Park, Kan.
