Apply for Fourth 'Tennis Industry Innovation Challenge’

The fourth edition of the popular Tennis Industry Innovation Challenge will take place during the racquet & paddle sports conference in Orlando, Jan. 23-25. Presented by the Tennis Industry Association, the Innovation Challenge is a “Shark Tank”-like competition to identify the most innovative and creative product or service in the tennis industry.

Orlando Racquet, Paddle Sports, Facility Conference to be Jan. 23-25

Reserve now for the new industry conference that will be Jan. 23-25 in Orlando, which will expand upon and include the TIA’s popular Tennis Owners & Managers Conference. The new “racquet & paddle sports” conference will include an added focus on facilities, innovation and technology. It will also include demo day, with manufacturers and innovators displaying new product for attendees to playtest on the courts at the USTA National Campus.

TIA Tennis Forum Set for Monday, Aug. 27, in NYC

Don’t miss the 11th annual Tennis Industry Association Tennis Forum, which will be at the Grand Hyatt New York on Monday, Aug. 27, the first day of play at the US Open. The Forum will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

USTA, ATP, WTA Implement Rules Innovations at Summer Events

The USTA, ATP and WTA announced that a series of in-game innovations will be implemented at a number of events taking place within the United States and Canada throughout the summer, including at the 2018 US Open.  These rule changes were a result of collaboration and consultation between all three organizations, and are aimed at increasing pace of play and ensuring a consistent set of enforcement standards.

Register Now for 2018 Tennis Teachers Conference in NYC

Register for the 44th Tennis Teachers Conference, which will be Aug. 24-27 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. More than 1,000 tennis professionals and industry leaders are expected to attend the event, which his presented by the USTA and USPTA, and also will serve as the USPTA’s World Conference.

New, Expanded Industry Conference to be Held in January in Orlando

The Tennis Industry Association will be expanding its Tennis Owners & Managers (TOM) Conference in 2019, including an added focus on facilities, innovation and technology and a demo day at the USTA National Campus. The event will be in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 23 to 25.

Play Tennis Month Helps Rally the Industry

More than 2,300 tennis events in 32 states were registered as part of official Play Tennis Month activities during the month of May. All the events were searchable on PlayTennis.com so current, new and returning tennis players could easily find local places and times to play.

New Tennis Participation Report Available from TIA

The 2018 Tennis Participation Report has been published and is available for members. The 24-page report, produced by the Tennis Industry Association in partnership with the Physical Activity Council, includes the most recent data and trends through year-end 2017 for tennis participation, consumer spending, fitness and health, fans, tennis interest, cross participation in other sports, and more.

11th Annual TIA Tennis Forum Aug. 27 in New York

The annual Tennis Industry Association Tennis Forum will be on Monday, Aug. 27, at the Grand Hyatt New York in Manhattan from 8 to 9:30 a.m. The 11th annual Forum will include the latest news and research about the state of the tennis industry, business insights, updates on grow-the-game initiatives including the USTA’s Net Generation, and recognition of the 2018 Tennis Industry Hall of Fame inductees.
