There’s still time to register--for free—for the inaugural Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference (RAPS), which will be Jan. 23-25 at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Fla.
RAPS will include the Tennis Industry Association’s sixth annual Tennis Owners & Managers (TOM) Conference (for an added registration fee), with an expanded focus on facilities, innovation and technology, and showcasing top experts and consultants. The TOM includes the popular “TOM Talks” series, the fourth edition of the Innovation Challenge, Friday afternoon breakout sessions and multiple networking opportunities. There will be both a 60-foot universal court and a full-size padel court set up in the OCCC so attendees can play various court sports and try out new equipment.
For the TOM, registration for all three days is $395 for TIA members and $495 for non-members, but daily registration options are available (visit TheTOMConference.com).
For industry professionals, admission is free to the RAPS demonstration, exhibition and networking events at the OCCC and also at the Jan. 23 afternoon Demo Day and Industry Welcome Party at the USTA National Campus. RAPS registrants (visit racquetpaddlesportsshow.com) also will have complimentary admission to the PGA Merchandise Show also taking place at the OCCC, which annually attracts 40,000-plus attendees.
