Cardio Tennis a Big Player at 2012 PTR Symposium

Cardio Tennis® was a big part of the PTR International Tennis Symposium this past February in Orlando, FL.

Cardio Tennis® Manager Michele Krause was honored with the TIA/PTR Commitment to the Industry award and several members of the Cardio Tennis® National Speakers Team were present to help deliver morning TRX Cardio Tennis workouts. PTR teaching professionals also participated in a competition of Cardio Tennis® feeding skills.

The PTR Symposium provided one of the first opportunities for coaches and teaching pros to experience TRX Cardio Tennis, an exciting and new cutting-edge workout. Members of the National Cardio Tennis Speakers team led the sessions with 16 participants on each court. The action was nonstop and the energy limitless.

"The beauty of TRX Cardio Tennis is that it is designed to accommodate seven to 16 players on one court," says Cardio Tennis Speakers Team member Jorge Capestany. "Putting 16 players on one court, while providing a fantastic workout experience, is every club owner or manager's dream come true."

Forty seven coaches participated in the Cardio Tennis feeding shootout competition at the PTR Symposium. This year's competition was a 3 balls across diagonal pattern. The pro had 60 seconds to hit as many targets as possible. This year's finalist was Carlos Maehama who shot a 44 and the winner was Ted Murray with 48.
