Careers In Tennis Highlights Career Paths in Industry

Since its inception in 2009, the TIA's Careers In Tennis intiative has been geared towards highlighting the viable career paths in this industry. Now, with more than 2,000 registered job seekers, and a constant "pool" of more than 1,000 jobs, the www.CareersInTennis.com website has become one of the "go to" sources for finding a career in the industry.

"Our goal when we launched this initiative in 2009 was to not only develop a platform to highlight the viability of a job in tennis, but also help to easily connect talented candidates with industry employers and ultimately, create more future leaders for the tennis industry," says TIA's Research and Operations Manager, Ryan Melton.

Employers can post their open positions FREE of charge on the job board, as well as search the over 2,000 candidate profiles to see if they match up to openings within their respective companies. When employers jobs are posted they not only go straight to the job board, but are also listed in the TIA's weekly Careers In Tennis job alert.

"We want to do whatever we can to connect employees and employers via Careers In Tennis," Melton adds. "Each week we distribute the latest jobs posted to the site in an 'alert' style message that allows job seekers to see the latest opportunities posted to the board. These alerts have been highly successful in driving traffic to the job board and increasing views of open positions posted."

In 2013 alone there has been nearly 15,000 views of the open positions on CareersInTennis.com. In addition, 350 new jobseekers have signed up on the site to indicate their interest in pursuing a career in the tennis industry.
