The 2016 State of the Industry report is available from the TIA and outlines key research to help tennis industry businesses and organizations. The TIA produces more than 70 annual research reports, and the State of the Industry analyzes this data to determine where this industry has been, where it is now, and where it is going.

TIA Offers Summer Webinar Series

The TIA’s new “Knowledge Base” will include a series of educational webinars this spring and summer that touch on many segments of the tennis industry. A number of the webinar topics for this “learning series” have been adapted from presentations at the Tennis Owners & Managers Conference that was held in Miami this past March.

Cardio Tennis Has New Training Course, New Logo

Cardio Tennis, one of the fastest growing tennis programs in the U.S., has updated its Training Courses for tennis providers, adding a Level 2 for professional education for tennis and fitness pros. Cardio Tennis also has a new logo, which is on the website and will be rolled out with other material and promotions for Cardio Tennis Authorized Providers.

The number of people playing tennis in the U.S. and the number of tennis “play occasions” increased in 2015, according to the latest figures released by the Tennis Industry Association (TIA) and U.S. Tennis Association (USTA), which were part of the Physical Activity Council (PAC) Annual Participation Study.
