Seles & Sabatini set to Square Off at 2015 BNP Paribas Showdown

Tennis legends Monica Seles and Gabriela Sabatini will face each other in a 25th anniversary rematch of their famed 1990 five-set WTA Championship final in the 2015 BNP Paribas Showdown, it was announced today.  Roger Federer, who last month led Switzerland to their first-ever Davis Cup championship, will face Grigor Dimitrov and headline the annual tennis showcase on Tuesday, March 10 at Madison Square Garden.

ESPN is Home to the Grand Slams

The 2014 US Open may have ended recently, but planning for next year is top of mind for ESPN, which starting in 2015 begins an 11-year agreement for exclusive rights broadcast to the US Open. The agreement means that ESPN will have all four Grand Slam tournaments.

Second Annual World Tennis Day Set for March 3

The International Tennis Federation and StarGames announced today that the second annual World Tennis Day will take place on Monday, March 3. World Tennis Day will center around a series of high-profile special events, produced by StarGames, featuring current and former professional players. In 2014, the number of cities hosting the special events will include New York, London, Bangkok and Hong Kong.

Djokovic, Murray, Bryan Brothers, McEnroe Brothers Headline 2014 BNP Paribas Showdown

The 7th annual BNP Paribas Showdown on Monday, March 3, 2014  is set to provide an unbelievable night of tennis when some of the biggest names in the game take on The Garden court. The event will feature tennis’ number one rivalry, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, as well as, for the first time in its history, a unique  brothers doubles match with John and Patrick McEnroe teaming up to take on Mike and Bob Bryan, arguably the best doubles team of all-time. The doubles match, which begins at 7:00 p.m., will be an eight-game pro set followed by a best-of-three sets for the singles match.

Washington Kastles Three-Peat As Mylan WTT Champions

The Washington Kastles became just the second team in history to three-peat at the Mylan World TeamTennis Finals presented by GEICO after defeating the Springfield Lasers on Sunday 25-12 in front of a sold out home crowd at Kastles Stadium at The Wharf. The Kastles joined elite company with the Sacramento Capitals, who won a record four straight titles from 1997-2000.
