The industry's largest job board,CareersInTennis.com, is undergoing a complete revamp to improve the user interface for the site, allowing jobseekers to more easily connect with viable career paths in the tennis industry. The new iteration of the site is expected to launch in late 2013 or early 2014.
With more than 40,000 annual views of jobs posted on the site, CareersInTennis.com helps connect those seeking careers in the industry with tennis employers. One of the key functionalities of the site will be in its responsive design, meaning that users on any type of device, whether smart-phone, tablet, or PC will be able to view content in an way that is optimized for that particular device.
Currently there are nearly 3,000 registered jobseekers on the site and over 250 registered employers. "We're placing a focus on highlighting viable career paths in this industry," says TIA Executive Director Jolyn de Boer. "That's why we're also including a listing of RSI's 30 Under 30, in hopes that it will encourage other young professionals to explore the great opportunities that exist within the tennis industry."
Until the updated site is re-launched, jobseekers and employers are still encouraged to utilize the current version of the site to view and post open positions.
