The Tennis Industry Association will hold a semi-annual Retail Division meeting on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at 8 a.m. at the Grand Hyatt New York.
Preliminary topics for discussion during the meeting include:
- Further development of the TIA Retail Division, member benefits and services
- Tennis Tune-Up campaign – How the retail segment of the industry can get behind and support the industry-wide PlayTennis.com initiative.
- Youth Tennis Equipment, Trends and Marketplace – Creating New Consumers
- The TIA Specialty Retail Certification Course will also be discussed as the TIA continues to develop this online certification tool to help enhance the business and product knowledge of tennis retailers and their employees.
On hand for the Retail Division meeting will be: TIA Retail Manager Marty Mohar; the TIA's Retail Consulting Partner, Gluskin Townley Group; members of the TIA Manufacturers Panel; Sports Marketing Surveys' Robert Broach; and current members of the TIA Retail Division and its steering committee.
