The Tennis Industry Association presented key industry research and information at the USTA’s annual Tennis Development Workshop (TDW), held Nov. 7-9 in Atlanta, Ga. More than 500 tennis providers from around the country attended the TDW, including USTA section and district staff and volunteers, local Community Tennis Association and park & rec personnel, teaching pros and coaches.
The TIA session covered industry trends and information along with tools and resources that attendees could take back to their communities to gain local support for tennis and grow the game efforts. A separate Cardio Tennis session was also delivered at the TDW and the TIA managed a booth to answer questions and share information to assist attendees.
The annual TDW is an opportunity for tennis providers to learn from each other, share best practices and success stories, and help grow tennis locally and nationally. Other presentations included sessions on Youth Tennis, running local play opportunities, school tennis, fundraising, volunteer development, advocacy, leagues and more.
