USTA Offers Funding for 10 and Under Lines on Clay

Clay court lines for 10 and Under Tennis have recently been approved by the USTA for partial funding, similar to the current blended lines for hard courts. The new lines, developed by Har-Tru Sports, can be put down in minutes to mark 36- and 60-foot courts on clay.

There are more than 20 million children in the U.S. ages 10 and under. In an effort to grow the game of tennis, increase retention, and increase participation in competition, the USTA continues to make a significant investment in the development and promotion of the 10 and Under Tennis initiative, which uses the QuickStart Tennis play format to get kids into the game quickly, having fun and success at the sport right from the start.
