The latest data from the Physical Activity Council (PAC) shows participation in the sport grew by a huge 43% from 2000 through 2009, making tennis one of the fastest growing traditional participation sports in the U.S. for the past decade.

Cardio Tennis Kids debuted Feb. 18 at the PTR Symposium on Hilton Head Island. The three-hour workshop consisted of both classroom and on-court sessions and was led by Michele Krause, the national Cardio Tennis manager for the Tennis Industry Association, who was assisted by members of the Cardio Tennis national speakers team.
