Not only is May National Tennis Month, it’s also National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. To help celebrate both, check out the “Tennis–For the Health of It!” booklet, presented by the USPTA, which includes 34 reasons to play tennis.
Available to download at www.tennis-health.com, the booklet covers the tremendous health benefits (both physical and psychological) of playing tennis. Written by Dr. Jack Groppel, Ph.D., and the USPTA, it outlines the importance of exercise, how tennis is the “ultimate exercise” and then lists the 34 specific reasons to play tennis and the research behind each.
